New HQ Appeal 

Since 2003 EEAOP has led the way in raising awareness of the importance of orchards and orchard fruit, and in ensuring their future in our region. Now a highly successful organisation, we urgently need a proper H.Q. so we can continue to develop our work:    

• researching
• supporting community orchards
• providing training
• making endangered varieties available to the public
• and promoting orchards and their fruits wherever possible.

The Problem - Our success has meant that we have outgrown our existing base, our workload outstrips the current staffing, and the lack of an orchard collection severely limits our educational and research activities. In order to maintain, develop and expand our work, major change is urgently needed. 

The Solution A dedicated headquarters - an orchard of all our local variety apples, pears, plums and cherries, plus an office, workshop and educational space to accommodate staff, volunteers and visitors. All these can be provided at West Raynham Park, a former RAF base in West Norfolk currently being re-developed as a new village.

The Project has already been gifted two buildings, with land available alongside to rent.

Funds are now needed to plant the orchard, convert the buildings and establish staff. We can only do this with your help.
